Default Sensor Above Oil Filter?

I'm drawing a complete blank right now... someone shoot me!

It's not the oil pressure as that's behind the intake manifold, not the oil temp. as that's on the passenger side of the pan... what is this sensor for?

the blue colored oil level sensor is on the passenger side of the pan....

ok so if thats the oil level sensor than the one directly above the oil filter is the oil temp?

You are correct. The sensor at the filter is the temperature sensor.
