Default k harness pics - anyone?

my 99 does not column lock so i am fairly sure a dealer mod has been performed. i bought the cbl and my readings on this form indicate that i need to remove the k harness (if installed) before i install the cbl. can anybody show me what to look for to recognize the k harness? picture would help but description would do as well. do i really need to remove it before installing the cbl?

I think this is it. (i can't really see the pcs here at work, so I may have copied the wrong link) It's just a harness with a relay on the end of it. You can also find a ton of info in this sticky thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1015483

Yes, you need to remove the K Harness, as the CLB plugs in the exact same place as the removed K Harness.

it really isn't bad to get to. A few bolts to pull down the panel, cut the zip tie(assuming it is installed like mine) follow th harness to both plugs, remove it and plug the original plugs back in. I did it in a Wendy's parking lot.

Default My Column Lock Fixed FINALLY

I read over 1,500 posts on this and other forums and tried everything, repeatedly........battery, fuses, CLB, Relays, jumpers........

From the pic above I finally realized what the K harness actually looked like and I unplugged it and pluged the CLB bypass into the intended spot (not the existing wire plug that was going up to the steering wheel) and now everything works perfectly.

Thanks for all your help......
