Go for the APC bulbs, have used them in all of my cars along with family members. NEver loose their bright super White where as some others will over time turn yellow.

Any lamps/bulbs that are "tinted" or "colored", cause less light to pass through. If you read further into this auction description, you will see that they have claimed these to be 100w - 120w! Of course this will seem a little brighter.
They had to do this because by coating the bulb "blue", they are asorbing/blocking the rest of the light spectrum from going through. How can blocking some of the light be better for you? It can't! This high wattage is also not approved for highway use according to DOT specs. High beams cannot be over 65w for good reason. You end up blinding the oncoming traffic. These are blue tinted just like all the rest of the crap out there.
Do you know that giving these a bluish tint causes people in oncoming traffic more glare to deal with? Blue light scatters more. It has a shorter wavelength, 430 - 500 nanometers. This is harder for the human eye to see. There will be less contrast. Our eyes are more sensitive to yellow light, this is a longer wavelength. We can see from 400 - 700 nanometers, and yellow light is better for the human eye than blue.

All those damn lightbulb companies take profit over sense and ethics.

I don't like my APC bulbs. The stock ones were brighter, I think. I'm going to use them until one burns out and then return to stock or the Euro/H4 setup.

Hi: I've got the APC's also in my E-code set up and I don't like 'em either. The old eye ball meter says they are not as bright as the standard H-4's I got with the set up. I'll suffer till next spring when I'll do the over wattage wiring set up and use my Narva 100-130s. Then we'll see................(Pun intended) :D :D :D
