P0443 - The EVAP purge valve is controlled by the PCM. The PCM has determined that the state of the valve is different than what the PCM has commanded.
Is the code follwed by a "C" (indicating it is "Current") ??? If not, delete it and see if it returns. If it returns, then check the wiring to the EVAP ... the valve is located under the Left Fuel Rail cover, just above the valve cover, and slightly forward. It has a vacumn hose feeding to the front of it from the Throttle Body, and a second hose from the purge valve to the engine. Easy to replace 5 to 10 minute job.
Check the wiring to it first ... if that is OK, replacement is part number 10293954 (List price $26.56 for a 2000)
B2285 - Battery #2 (High Draw voltage) Voltage for Door Control Module Low/High. This usually sets if you had a weak battery at some point in time. Are your power windows working OK ??? If so it is a "History" code and can just be deleted.

Reason: Add part number
MY right side windows and door locks wont work at all
First thing I'd check is the power to the PDM (Passenger Door Module). Check the I/P fuse block ... inspect Fuse 30 (10 Amp) and especially Fuse 31 (25 Amp) ... Fuse 31 blowing will set B2285.
Did you clear the P0443 ??? Did it come back ??
I was doing a search and found you have a multi-page thread on the B2285 already .....
I replaced fuse and the B2285 came after reblowing the ruse. Whats up?
I'm GUESSING you are talking about fuse #31 ..... it provides power to the Passenger Door Control Module for electrical systems that draw a heavy amount of power from the electrical system.
First thing I'd check is the wiring inside the "accordion" protector in the hinge area of the passenger door. Many cases of wiring in this area wearing through the insulation and having a problem.
Secong thing to do is remove the interior door panel to access the DCM (Door Control Module). You will need to disconnect all wiring from the module. Once all wiring to door lock, window motor, mirror are disconnected ... put a fresh fuse in #31 and then hook up one item .... say the window motor ... and see if it blows the fuse. You will have to step through the wiring until you find the componenet causing the fuse to blow.
Good luck .... electrical issues can be a biatch to track down sometimes.
I figured Id let you know I have solved the problem i believe. After blowing a few fuses I simply moved up to a 30amp fuse and Havent had a problem since. The wiring in the door looked perfect. I hope this is a permenant solution. Thanks for you help! Now on to fixing the purge valve.
