Default Drivers side door controls wont work

I have a 2000 coupe with out the memory package. All the buttons for adjusting mirrors and windows occassionally stop working on the drivers side (of corse I found this out on a rainy day). The passanger window will go up if I use the passenger side controls. I tried turning the car off and on with the switch up to put the window up and the knocking method but this rarely works for more than a day. What do I need to do to get this working again.

Thanks.

Default Might be the control panel

I got a used one on fleebay for about $35 not the $100 + price at the stealership. I'd check the connectors first. Pulls up with a little screwdriver and is easily replaced. If not the switch panel the do surgery on the door module. Past posts here on how to do that. BIGHANK

Your problem might be in the connectors inside the rubber accordion boot at the door hinge. Check it out in this link. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...1606865&page=6

I bet you're losing power to the door through the connectors.

I think so. When I open or close my door sometimes the car goes haywire and shoots out every error code it has. It runs great mechanically and seems fine when I turn the car off then back on. When I jiggled the accordian I was able to affect the door switch so I'm going to pull it apart and see what I can see.

Thanks everyone for the help so far. I'll keep you posted
