Default Traction Control Problems!!

I just put new tires on the rear of my 01 coupe a4, and with the traction control on it limits my car to about 60 mph, and traction control active stays on, with traction off car is fine, the tires are bridgestone pole positions, 295/30/18s , any help or ideas would be great!

Your new rear tires are shorter than the fronts. This will cause false TC engagement every time.

Proper tire height is important on these cars. Your traction control system works by comparing front and rear wheel speeds. Putting on a shorter tire effectively increases read wheel speed, so bottom line is when your rear wheel speeds become too fast compared to the fronts, the TCS system sees that as rear wheels spinning (lost traction).

Put on proper size tires, or learn to live w/o TC. Those are your two options, And no, it can't be tuned out. Most tuning software does allow for programming rear tire size, but all that affects is the speedometer, it does nothing for the TCS system.
