Default Best aftermarket Column Lock Bypass

I recently purchased a 2000 MN6 with 23,xxx miles. Perfect condition, no issues. However I am thinking of purchasing a Column Lock Bypass to have on hand in case of a problem. Or, maybe have it installed right away. My question is which one to buy. Has anybody had especially good luck...or especially bad luck with any of them. Just looking for a recommendation.
Thanks much,
Conrad

You will need to install it before you get the column lock otherwise you are SOL. The bypass only works if the system is in working order so do the install when you get it. It is a very easy install.

I got mine from Corvettes of Houston

I have a CLB that I bought from Thunder racing. Before installing, I found out that the dealer had already disabled the CL for me so I don't need it.
I also have a 2000 MN6 hardtop. If you want to buy it, email me privately: debuhr@comcast.net

This is what I have:

It will only take you about 15 minutes to install it. You will need a #15 torx for the screws.

Thanks to everyone for your help and information. I have one ordered and will have it installed the day it arrives.

To K6JR: Is that your Indy Pace Car in the picture? When I saw that car at the 500 back in 1998 I just knew I would own a C5 someday. I will always be a big fan of the C5 and the flip headlights. This year will be my 23rd Indy 500.

Thunder Racing says: "All year C5's with a 6 speed transmission, and all pre-2001 model C5's with an automatic can use this device. 2001 and later model automatic cars do not have a column lock at all, however the 6 speed cars retained it."

Is this the case, that auto transmission don't have a lock?
