Efi Live Help!!
Everyone keeps refrencing a green wire, but I dont have a green wire.
Hate to guess with $750 worth of equipment on the line.
A recommendation to anyone considering EFI live & an innovate LC-1 combo from someone who has spent twice the time tuning to just hook up the damn wideband and efi live as cam clutch and heads install with flycutting:
Don't. I havn't been able to drive my car for over 2 months and it only took 3 weeks (working on weekends only) for the mechanical work.
Reasons:
-Conflicting instructions
-tremendous variations in products
-recalled products on the LC-1 that the company doesn't have the serial #'s listed
-user unfriendly
I can't compair it to HP tuners... but from what I've herd it doesn't have these problems.
I'm really disapointed with the whole thing as I have wasted another saturday trying to compensate for your products short comings that are holding my car hostage.
If there is a rep from either company Efi live or innovate, I would love to chat with you about your products.
Just getting a straight answer and clear wiring diagram that reflected the ACCURATE color of the wires and the # of wires would be a relief at this point.
I can't believe the poor quality of instructions. If as an engineer I produced plans and specs for my clients that were like this, I would lose my liscense.
Why shouldn't this have 1 wiring diagram that is as simple as a head unit, amp, and speaker install?

lots of help with pcm tuning
I chatted with you earlier about the EFI-Innovate wiring, if you still have questions I can go outside and look at my setup and confirm to you which color goes where.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Sent you a PM explaining what happened yesterday.
I have a brown and a yellow. Thus far I've seen either the brown or the yellow going to the C or E pinout in every and any combo possible.
The blue and white wire to the efi live is cert a new twist which I will resist duplicating. I planned on
gounding the blue and white as together as called for in the instructions. then running a seperate wire from the D pinout to this same ground.
When you throw in a gauge to the mix it's down right confusing as that needs to be grounded with the white wire, which is with the blue wire, and, by my plans, another wire running from this ground point to the aformentioned D Pinout.
I pray this is right, but I sort of doubt it because as you pointed out, I had the power wired incorrectly to a switched accesory, but not an engine running dependant switched accessory.
Again, I'm wireing my + lead to the fuel pump relay so I dont burn up my WO2 sensor
I wanted to get this in this post because it's very impt info. Hopefully we can help some other along....
