steering column lock bypass light on
pull key wait 10 sec light on
bought the clb bypass followed directions installed it exactly
pulled fuses waited put fuses back in
went through reset codes
and still fuel shuts off at 2mph car will not move, lights still on, column is not locked and never was
You don't mention in your profile what year C5 you own, but the aftermarket CLB kits don't work on some 97 and 98 C5s. It didn't work on mine so I sent it back and had the factory recall done at my local Chevy dealer. No problems after that.
ok thank you it is 2000 6-speed, it left 5 minutes ago on rollback to gm, they dont tell you when you purchase the clb, if the recall is done, and it goes out again the clb wont work it only works if the recall has NOT been performed after it has been performed I think your only choice is to take it back to gm, this totally stinks 2-weeks straight without driving the vette, man I miss it,
Do you have the K-harness installed as part of the original recall? If you do, you need to remove it. I had a similar problem with the fuel shut-off. I installed the CLB and it didn't work. I read here I needed to remove the K-harness. I removed it, installed the CLB and its been working fine ever since.
