Default Tire Pressure Sensors

I've got a '98 C5 with a "Service TPSM" coming in the dash. I had it looked at during my last oil change and they said that 2 of my tire sensors are not send a signal. It appears that the batteries only last about 10years give or take. I'm not sure that I want to replace them at about $130 a piece or around $500 for four. Question is "is there a way to disable the TPSM system with our affecting the keyless entry part of the system"?
Any help you could give would be appreciated,
TG

Yes, someone with a Tech II can shut them off.

The system can only be turned off if the car is a 2001 or newer .... it can't be turned off on a 1998.

Also, dealer's won't turn the system off for liability reasons.

Or you can have all 4 of them rebuilt for about $100.

You are quoting the price for 2001-2004 sensors ... the OP needs 1997-2000 sensors ..... $418.35 shipped

I wonder if this will work on a 98?
