Hey guys need a little help here. I have an 04 targa top that i'm having problems polishing the wheels on. I have the five spoke polished wheels but, just can't seem to get the cloudiness and the small scratches out. Is there anything out there that I can use that will get this out. THanks!
Over time the polished alum gets hazy and no amount of hand buffing will get it shiny again.
There may be some ways to get a buffer and compound to bring them back but it will be a lot of work.
In my experience, live with it or get another set of wheels. Usually less then $1k for aftermarket/repros in stock sizes from Forum vendors.

I believe our polished wheels are clear coated so you would have to remove the clear coat and then polish the wheel...

The clear coat is what is hazy, remove it and repolish the wheels to fix the damage from taking the clear coat off. Your best bet is to just get some new wheels, tomzwheels helped me, good prices, great service.
