Here's what I'm doing...
I have a mostly stock 2000C5, A4, 43k miles, what's on the engine now: LG Street LTs w/hiflow cats/Z06 TI's at the back, Blackwing, 3:15 gears. Right now I'm at 326RWHP, 335torque. Here's what I plan on adding in a month:
LS6 Heads...Gen III, The springs are comp. cam (921) dual springs and titanium retainers. The push rods are 7.400 chm pro pushrods. The rocker arm assembys are stock ls6.
LS6 Intake
2003 Z06 Cam..
LS2\LS6 Timing chain
Ported LS6 oil pump
What does a set up like that sound like, and what's the guess at RWHP/Torque.
Thanks guys....

I'm confused by your question. Are you wondering if it sounds like a smart move or how it's actually going to sound?
Like previously mentioned, I would upgrade the cam even further while you're in there. When choosing a cam, you should consider your goals regarding driveability and performance then get with a reputable vendor to assist you with your choice. The LS2 and LS6 timing chains are different. Good that you're replacing the oil pump.
i agree with the guy above me, what are your power goals, wanted drivability, ect? its hard to say something is good, without knowing what your looking for. that is in fact....why they make more than one specific grind of cam
personally, id go with a much bigger cam, and then find a deal on some ported ls6 heads, or get some TSP PRC heads while your in there.

For what I want to do , I think it sounds like a smart move, have already gotten good advice on it but was just looking for other comments. If I get it to 360-400rwhp I would be happy with that. I listed both timing chains but I'm going with the LS6, since the heads and intake are LS6, and of course the oil pump. Not sure if I want to put a larger cam, I think I would be satisfied with the Z06 cam. Plus, working with limited funds.... Like I said, just a little input on the setup. It's not a DD, and I'm not looking to race it, just a little more power than it presently has. Thanks for your comments.
I would avoid the ls6 TC they are known to break use the ls2 it is tuffer for the same money.
as far as Cam the LS6 makes a little more power and is very DD friendly but it will make less power that a lot of very DD friendly cams.
the stock LS6 heads are ok but for a little more you can get ported ls1's or ls2's and make more power (only consider if you are going to a larger cam).
check out your lifters and rockers at least they are known weak links.
keep in mind that moving up to a larger cam in the future is expensive due to the labor involved and I would have them pin the crank while they are in that far (cost very little and is the hardest part of a SC install)

Thanks guys, got it together and ready to go.

That was pretty damn close.....ended up going with what I listed, LS2 timing chain, 30lb injectors, new plugs, plus Powerbond 25% UD Pulley. Ended up with 367RWHP, 365RWTQ, I'm satisfied, and enjoying.
