I was looking over the Chrysler 2002 300M sales brochure Form No. 74-383-2205 and found this statement about the 300M special, page 4. ",plus a composure of handling that finds it circling our 300-foot skidpad at a .g-rating higher*than BMW540i or Corvette." Note states "Measured at .91g. as equipped with standard sport tires. Tests conducted on asphalt surface with a temperature measurement of 60 degrees fahrenheit. Information based upon 2001 model year data. Corvette, standard equipped, .87g. BMW540i, standard equipped, .84g." Car and Driver August 2001 had the Corvette vert. .90/.92g. stability control on/off Z51 equipped. Tires on the 300M Special 245/45ZR18 96Y BSW Michellin unidirectional performance.
Any Comments? :seeya
yeah, adjust camber full positive, whack the toe out too, along with bad tire air pressures and put some dumb kid behind the wheel and you too can have a C5 Vette that only pulls .90g on a skidpad. The fact that it pulled higher g with TC on should be some indication about the driver.

You can bet the 300M was optimized to the hilt.
Not to be a jerk or anything, but what the hell are you talking about?
