Default Tranny question
Hi

Car is 04 Z06
Changed tranny fluid yesterday. After reading post it appeared about 4 quarts was needed for refill. Got 3.5 quarts before fluid started coming out of fill hole. Vehicle manual calls for 4.1 quarts (rebuild). Car was level, both plugs were out for draining. Let it drain for about 1/2 hour. I am probally being a overly cautious but don't want to have a tranny failure either.

I've changed mine 4 or 5 times now and all I get in is about 3.5 qts.

Just did my FRC 3.5 for me too. The sticky at the top of general discussion weights measurements etc. states 3.5 as well.
