Bought HP tuners, having a problem
I recently puchased Hp tuners in hopes of disabling my column lock for good but I'm having a problem.
My OBD port is not working. If I plug the interface into the port it doesn't show power at the connector.
Now I am positive the problem is my car and not the cables, interface or software because I tested it on my friends Silverado and it works just fine.
I guess I'll start checking the simple stuff like fuses and grounds. Any other ideas feel free to chime in.

The 12V source near the AC controls has power so it can't be a fuse then.

I think it's the same as the cigarette lighter fuse. Check them all in the footwell, one of them is blown for certain.

It was fuse #29 that was blown. I replaced it and everything is all good! I reprogrammed the fuel cut off with Hp tuners and installed my CLB. Goodbye column lock problem!
