key wont turn
Hi,
i have a 2001 a4 coupe, the key does not turn in the ignition, i tired both keys and they both don't turn, the remote works, and i can turn the wheel so no colum lock issue there, any ideas?
also the windows are down, is there a way to roll them up with no power?

Well, you may have a jacked up lock cylinder. Remove the knee bolster and ignition switch and turn it manually until you can get it fixed. You probably won't be able to start the car, but you should be able to get your windows up. If when the ignition switch comes out, you still need to turn the key, then jumper the red wire to the orange (I think it's the orange one) and it should allow you to get your windows up.
