Glove box latch
Hi.
I have a 1998 Corvette and the latch on my glove box wont latch.Anyone know how to fix this.I am afraid to force the latch because its in the down postion and i dont want to damage it.I am afraid the light will run my battery down.And i cant find the fuse because it doesnt seem to be listed in the book.Any help would be appreciated.

Soon after I bought my 02 I shut the glove box, the latch tripped to the shut position before it was closed. I found that if I pulled the latch handle to the open position it re-set and then it would close on the next try.

Yep, the latch on my '00 will do the same thing now and then..........just pull the handle, and flick the lever to the open position, and it then will close just fine.
