belt or pulley squeak?

i hear a squeak when i go over 2000 RPM, i bought a belt lubricant and it kinda helped but it comes back. what can it be?

How old is your C5 belt?
If belt is old , rubber is getting hard, then Belt is noisy. New belt , rubber is soft, no noise until it getting old.

i think it might be the original belt? how much labor is there to replace the belt? or can i change it myself

Replace your belts but also clean and regrease your pulleys if the bearings are good/works everytime..

it was the belts!! i bought the gator ones and now its gone. Very quiet like everyone says. so if anyone does have a squeaky belt def change it with the gator ones. This forum is great!!!
