I bought some kooks LT's yesterday. There for a 2000 FRC which has the oil dip stick that mounts to the header.
My question is has anyone ever had problems with this? I have seen quality headers in the past have problems with AIR/EGR tubes breaking off. Should I worry about that with the dip stick mount? I can easily buy the 2001+ dipstick from the dealer that mounts to the head instead of the header to elevate that problem.
I just don't want the actual mount on the header to blow off while driving. Anyhow, maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I wanted to see if this particular problem has ever happened to anyone. If not great, I wont worry about it, but if so I can swap out the headers for a 2001+ set of race header and avoid the problem.
