Please help, need a speed sensor
I need a speed sensor for the front passenger wheel of my 2000 C5 coupe. I bought the car used and the piece of wire that goes to the speed sensor was hanging in the wheel pretty frayed up so I ended up snipping it. I would have to have both ends of the speed sensor and a section of wire to splice back together. Does anyone know where I could get one of these, or have one I could buy. I've been sniffing around for one without much luck and my inspection is up tomorrow and it wont pass. I'd appreciate any help I could get.

Hmmm. Didn't realize that the state of NY requires the ABS sysyem to be functional in order to pass a state inspection.
BTW, the speed sensor itself is incorporated into the wheel bearing hub assembly and not serviceable by itself.
