Default Dreaded "Reduced Engine Power" again

I have a good one for Bill Curlee. Have the dreaded "Reduced Engine Power", along with the Low Fuel, Service ABS and Traction System, but the "Reduced Engine Power" alarm will not allow me to get the Fuel button pushed even once, much less 4 times, to even get to be able to read the codes.
All lights and power are on. Engine turns over normally, but will not start.
Any suggestions? I have pulled Fuse 25.

I would have the battery checked.

Put fuse 25 back in .....

Then put key in ignition and turn the key to ON (don't start the engine).

Wait until whatever warning messages have displayed.

Press RESET. Each time you press RESET you will "clear" a message.

Clear all messages from the DIC until you have a "normal" DIC display (like oil temperature).

Now enter the "Diagnostic" mode by pressing and holding the OPTIONS button and then hitting the FUEL button 4 times in less than ten seconds.

Post the DTC codes displayed and we can go from there.

That is part of the problem. As I said before, I can't get to the codes, due to a "Reduced Engine Power" showing up on the DIC before you can press Fuel 4 times.
If I could read codes, I would have them here for you to read.
Done everything you said, at least 6 times, and the battery is at 13.2 Volts. Easily cranks the engine, just won't fire.

When the DIC says REDUCED ENGINE POWER ..... press RESET ..... the DIC will go to a different message .... right ?????

Continue to press RESET until the DIC is back to a normal display ....

then enter the "diagnostic mode"

PRESS RESET TO CLEAR DIC MESSAGES FIRST ......

That's all you gotta do ....

Tried that several times. When the "Reduced Engine Power" pops up on the DIC, between the "Options" and "Fuel", it is locked and will not clear.
Tried all this several times. That last "Reduced Engine Power" will NOT clear, to allow you to get any further, to read anything.

Have you tried going straight into diagnostics? I had the reduced power mode and went straight into diagnostics if I remember correctly. Then I reset everything and then drove home.

also, check all of your throttle body electrical connections and even check to make sure nothing is keeping the throttle blade from moving and make sure you can move it by hand.

Default Problem Found

Apparently battery acid, from a previous battery, had gotten on the PCM, and caused some opens, burning through contacts. PCM could not communicate with the BCM, and had basically shut everything down.

It's really good having her back in the garage.
