I took my stock '99 FRC to get a baseline dyno today. It is basically stock (flip-tie mod & A&A exhaust mod).
On a Mustang Dyno (MD 7000), it made 327hp and 322 ft lbs torque. From what I understand, the Mustang dynos tend to be conservative, so I am quite happy with those numbers. Any opinions/comments?
And a close up...

nj02vette: To my knowledge, it is bone stock...I thought that the numbers were suprisingly good...I know that the Mustangs dyno low, and prepared myself for something like 290whp...I was quite happy that I was wrong...
hermit: the tech mentioned something about the torque curve, but I didn't quite get what he meant, but it he said that it was pretty flat, and seemed a little surprised.
Maybe it has had a tune? I have no idea...Any way to find out?
are those numbers sae corrected or uncorrected? normal torque peaks at 4400 rpms and horsepower peaks at 5600 rpm. whats an a@a exhaust mod? Headers or just catbacks?

Those are corrected values. The A&A exhaust mod is simply where a bypass tube is welded between the inlet and outlet of the muffler...Typically, it adds very little horsepower and so is mostly a sound improvement...
