Looking for advice on coolant change

Looking for advice on coolant change
Anyone have any advice about changing coolant on an 01 vert? Any venting/air bubble issues? The car belongs to a friend and I told him I would help. Thanks for any input.

The first time I changed fluid I pulled the hose off the coolant tank drained it from there. Then open the valve at the bottom of the radiator and drained that. Then I added water from the hose to flush out system, when it was clear I stopped adding water and let it all drain out. Put a bottle of red line in and then refilled with 50/50 orange and run it with the cap off the tank until it got to temp. Added distilled water as necessary to top off. Did not have any problems.
Next time I brought it to work and let the guys use their new coolant flushing machine on it
Worked good and I did not have a mess to clean up.

Here is the picture of the drain valve opened and draining - larger so you can see what the valve looks like and where it is.
IF you do wind up breaking the plastic valve, you can buy a replacement at Auto-zone etc.
