I just pulled a 2003 Z06 TT apart this week, had a brand new BMW coupler ready to go in, the OE GM unit looked mint up front, didn't touch it

a solid LG coupler went out back

Save your self some time and get a T45 Torx plus from a good source like your snap-on truck

a T50 will work, but it's not correct

Side by side, the GM vs. BMW do NOT look the same, .02

do you mean it had a bmw coupler in there or that you are going to put a bmw coupler in?

Are you putting the stiff m3 m5 coupler or the soft one i put and then tore up in 20 k miles

i am definitly going to put the lg aluminum one in the rear.

ummm well no track but i drive alot of highway and city daily and i take out all my issues on the poor car.

Its cheaper than a psychologist and funner too! the downside is the repair time and the effort.

When i took the tranny in 2 days ago to fix up the issue with the third gear the tranny guy couldn't beleive i went though a "z" pack 3rd clutch pack in 20 k miles

I have a pair of stock 2001 12mm GM couplers that are in mint condition. I replaced mine with two LG Aluminum couplers at 45000 miles, pre all of my power adders. If you want pictures I have them. $50 you can have both.

PM me,
Max

Did you do two solid couplers? Doesn’t vibrate?? I use 10mm so yours won't work for me.

Does anyone know if the solid ones exist in 10mm size?
