vert top 98

HELP ! My vert top is driving me nuts with all the rattling and banging when its up. I know verts rattle all the time, but this roof is really annoying...any suggestions?

Mine doesn't rattle at all. In fact, I haven't known of anyone that I know with a vert having problems with rattling.

I have my vette since new and it does not have any rattles !!!
And it is a 98'

98 convertible since new, no noise no rattles.

Can you tell us more about the rattle? The banging? What part of your top makes the noise?

Based on the above post, it kind of sounds like a Tension issue.

after driving this weekend, it sounds like it is coming from the base (where the bottom of the top touchs the car) or perhaps it is the lid itself, although it is secure. more on the passenger side.
