what cam to get !!

i need a cam that gives me good horsepower and good idel. i will be useing it on a 383 stroked ls1 with out upgrated heads for now. every one recemends different to me and says not to use the other one in. :seeya

MOST people do heads before stroking a motor. Anyways...anything in the 218-222 range will idle nice for you and produce good numbers. Comp has a 220/224 581/581 114 that makes really good power and torque.
