Drove from Long Island NY to Charlotte NC last night with no problems. When we got into NC about 10AM it started getting hot outside, so we rolled up the windows and turned the AC on. Well when we got to Charlotte I turned the car off and it would start again. service engine soon - low fuel- low tire pressure all on display. Nothing when you turn the key. When i was going to check ecm I noticed rug on Passenger side was wet. when i got to ecm water was in it. WTF!!!! Towed in to a friends house. DEAD.

Thats the BCM (Body Control Module) in the passenger floor board area. It doesn't like water. Usually it means the udders are plugged up. Inside the engine compartment, you can see the small udder from it and its a pain to get too, but it needs to be cleaned out.
Now that its no longer starting, there are two possibilities as far as I'm aware of; 1) Disconnect the battery and pull the BCM. Take it apart and carefully clean everything inside of it with alcohol and using a formal wrist-ground strap and etc... 2) buy a new BCM and have the dealer put it in as it has to be programmed. Frankly, if it was me, I would be cleaning the existing one then try it again...but make sure that battery is disconnected before you remove it!!!!! PM to Bill Curlee and see what he has to suggest as he's the best for electrical.
Already pulled plugs from box with battery still hooked up
What could happen?
You're probaby alright ... not much you can do now except try to dry it out. It's probably more dangerous plugging it back in with battery hooked up than removing it with battery hooked up.
