First off, I'm looking for opinions on this. I'm considering getting one, but I'd like to hear your experiences.
Secondly, I was researching their website and found this; I found it a bit humorous:
What's the maximum G range of the G-TECH/Pro?
In order to acheive such high accuracy Maximum G range of G-TECH/Pro is ~1.3 G's. This is fine for all the cars who's 1/4 mile E.T.'s are above 7 seconds. If you have a car that's below 7 seconds you may experience inaccurate measurements due to clipping. Clipping is when the amount of G-Forces exceeds the limits of G-TECH/Pro. This can't hurt G-TECH/Pro but it can upset the measurements. Clipping will manifest itself by longer times than expected.
SHAn, when I first recieved mine, I thought"This is a piece of JUNK!!!!!!!".
Weighs about 2 ounces, and looks C_H_E_A_P....................
However, after using it, ansd seeing the results...........VERY close to real track times........I am / was pleasantly surprised......
Olus, i have yet to see a negative repliy about the unit's, from guy's who READ the instructions, and FOLLOW them..
I rate it a buy, especially IF you do not have acces to a strip nearby.........
Well, the 1/4 time is accurate but MPH is not because it gives you top speed at the end of 1/4 mile istead of average (like at the track) The HP option is stupid but I like 0-60 and 1/4
