Default Suspension advice

I know there are alot of suspension recommendations. I don't know if my situation is unique or not.

My car is lowered alot. It was lowered by cutting the front bushings and then lowering the rear using the stock bolts I think.

My shocks are shot and the ride and handling really sucks.

What would be the best bang for the buck?

Coilovers are very appealing but obviously pricey.

If I install zo6 shocks does the car being lowered affect their ride quality?

I will not be tracking the car. Just want good street handling and ride quality.

474rwhp and 470tq

thanks

You would need to find new front adjusters or a spring for the front.

The rear bolts could be tightened up to raise the car. Any drop over 1" from stock will cause you handling ills unless you're running coil overs.

Your car is too low and your suspension is probably bottoming on you. While cosmetically is make look from a functional standpoint, as you are now painfully aware .

Based on what you said the best thing to do would be to raise the car back up or close to stock level and try and get new bushings to replace the cut ones on your car. This would be the least inexpensive way to go.
If you need new shocks the C6 Z06 are very good.

Default the best VBP

I have all the VBP suspention so i can road race but you can get a spring rate that you want. they use a hard plastic spring ends up fount you can lower it as you wish. Bump stop is a must.

Well, the C6Z06 shocks are a great value for $250. I'm probably sitting about where you are and they're working good for me.

Others have reported the Bilstein sports are good too for about $70 more.

Then there are some here that report the Koni FSD's are great shocks but they run about $550.

So, it seems there are still some things in this world where more $$ spent is more value.
