Default injectors for ls1

need some help.. we sell injectors for the c4's and know all the specs etc. We are getting a lot of e mails for help with ls1 problems. Guys that have put SVO 30's in their cars seem to be running FAT and asked if I had a solution. I need from someone here that knows. What is the rail pressure of the c5 with an ls1.. I have been told so far 43.5, 55, and 60. I need to know for sure so I can tell you what a 30 SVO really flows at with your pressure.
Thanks in advance

58 psi is the designed rail pressure.

A 30# SVO flows ~36# at that pressure.

thank you
so does the stock injector flow 28 @ 58 its really a 24lb injector @43.5psi Am I correct. Another problem is the c4 guys are assuming that the 28lb LS1 injector will flow 28 in their cars. Actually it will only flow 24 at 43.5 and the SVO 24 will flow 25.25 since its rated at 39psi. So, by going to a LS1 injector they are really going smaller not bigger. Am I right

You are correct, The 28.8# rating for the stock LS1/6 injectors is at 58psi, and @ 43.5psi they are 24#.

This is all you need:

http://www.marcintology.com/tuning/injectors.xls

Any significant change will require the IFR table to be changed based on the output of this speadsheet.

alot of the c4 guys are putting in the ls1 injectors and setting the constant at 28.. This is the problem it should be at 24. Therefore, do the c5 guys use the new Bosch III design 24 as stock replacement for the ls1. They would run at less duty cycle than the stockers.

They should scale the injector table as well, not use a flat setting.

i agree. the problem is they think they are 28lb injectors.. not realizing that with the 43.5 FP they are really 24.

So when calculating injectiors for the LS6, based on a stock injector, do I put 24 or 28 in the "Injector Rated Flow Rate" table??
