I just had the car Dynod after installing 150 shot of Nitrous.
I will include pics of set up later. Here is the dyno sheet.
Let me know if this is about the right numbers I should be getting.
.
I have a window switch that turns on @ 3000 RPM & off @ 6000 RPM
& shifts @ 6200
.
if thats a wet kit you need to check your pills. your not getting a full 150 out of it. It also looks like your getting a lil fat.
Also what bottle pressure where you running???
If its a dry kit, how far away from your maf is the nozzle?? might need relocation or simply just adjusting it for a more optimal shot.
In any way we need more info on your setup. Auto / stick, year, injectors.
Not bad numbers but if there is more left on the table from a simple adjustment, might as well utilize that.
Why do you say he's a little fat? What do you tune your nitrous AFR to? I tune to 11.3-11.5:1. Leaning it out any more doesn't produce significant increases and causes a higher probability of detonation. It looks like he starts out at 12.0:1 and ends up close to 11.0:1. If anything, I would only possibly call that a hair fat depending on the bottle pressure at the end of the run and a hair lean in the beginning. Most dynos pick up their AFR data from the rear of the exhaust that has to go up a long tube before reaching the sensor, so there is usually a delay in time between the dyno hp/tq readings and AFR readings.
THe chart is too blurry on my computer to be acurate in my view. Hence why I siad it looks that way. You might can see it better. For mine I am tuning to 10.6, but I am running a 250 shot.
I dont see him getting the full 150 on his shot, ( many people dont get true numbers ) so i suggest changing things around a lil at a time to achieve a true 150 shot
This is a daily driver. I told tuner to give me a very conservative tune.
My main concern is dependability, more so than an exta few ponies.
.
I will be taking pictures this weekend, & going to the track friday night (if it doesn't rain)
.
To me, adjustment is needed. However if the OP is happy with his numbers, that is all that matters.
Those are strong #s, but for a 150 shot, It does seem a little low. I have a NX kit with Dave's plate and picked up 149RWHP (414/563 with TC UNLOCKED) with 150 pills, 1150psi, and 11.5AFR
I have 02 z06 that I just installed nx wet plate kit with a progressive controller. set at 3000 to 6000. bottle heater to 950 lb. pres. Dyno tuned in Belair Md. by Mike Bruce of Columbia Soulth Carolina. Very happy to say car made 540 rwhp.
Congrats on the numbers I do admit it is a little low. I know it's a z here in abq(5600 above sea level and da in the 7 to 8k) I can't post his dyno chart without his permission but just some info.
03z stock..that means no bolt ons what so ever not even a upgraded air filter. I know some idiots think having h/i/e is stock but anywayz
