I Have A 2002 A4 With The 2:73 Rear End. My Question Is.. There Is A Guy Who Will Sell Me A 3:42 Rear End For 600 Bucks... If I Buy That Can I Just By The 4:10 Ring And Pinion..and Put That In The 3:42 Casing. My Goal Is To Have 4:10s And I Guess Im Trying To Save A Few Bucks.. I Know You Cant Put 4:10's In The 2:73 Casing But Can U Put 4:10's In The 3:42 Casing?? Please Help !

The 3:42s will be such an improvement over the 2:73s, you want need the 4:10s. They may be a bit steep for a street car with the A4 anyhow.
