not engaging 2nd
Every now and then the car will not go into 2nd gear. It is inconsistant and only happens every now and then. When it does happen I just get a vibration in the shifter and it does not engage the gear. Am I slowly losing 2nd? Is it possible the shifter is just misaligned even thoug 4th and 6th are perfectly fine?

Ive had the same problem happen with my car after sitting in traffic with the car running. My problem was with putting her into first and sometimes I had to launch from 2nd or 3rd... One of the ways to fix this problem might be as simple as just replacing the tranny fluid...I personally use RP Synchromax ans RP max gear in the diff

Hope this helpsI should mention that I just installed a c6z shifter and was missing 1st, 3rd, 5th and realigned it. Is is at all possible that it is still not aligned properly if it is only missing 2nd?
