HELP: "GTA Fuel Enhancer"
OK this stuff is supposed to increase fuel mileage, octane and horsepower. Of course I don't believe it but a friend of my Dad's loves the stuff. He is claiming 10-15 HP gain. Naturally this is NOT dyno proven but SOTP. Is this stuff for real?

Never heard of that brand but there is merit to 108 octane booster, with MMT. Some vendors sell it and it has shown (in some cases) a power increase on a dyno. But, if you aren't having issues with KR then don't bother. The physical reaction of raising the octane is to slow down the fuel burn and this will reduce the likelihood of hot spots ahead of the flame propagation. In sort, no knock or timing issues, you don’t need it. Good luck.

If you burn fuel additives that contains MMT you may: shorten plug life; reduce emission performance (I read this as lunching your cats) and tripping the MIL (once you've lunched your cats). This stuff has been banned in CA since 1977.
In general, using an octane booster will allow you to advance your spark to gain some power. How much? Depends.....
Generally, I'd stay away from oil/gas additives. This is not "better living thru chemistry". :D
