Thinking about doing an electric WP for a LSX street car project. You happy with yours. Any draw backs....longevity, fitment issues, etc. Thanks..

I bought one used about 1.5 years ago. No problems, (knock wood) but I can't really tell any performance differences, either HP, or cooling.

I've had mine on for about three years now. No problems. It really helps in city driving with stop-n-go traffice. Previously, I worried about getting stuck in traffice because without airflow and higher rpm's you aren't getting much water flow. Now, with the Mez WP it actually gets cooler while sitting in traffic.

RPM's make more of a difference with the electric WP. When I get under 2K RPM, the temp usually starts dropping. Running my supercharged car in South Georgia heat and a Dewitts radiator it stays in the 178-185 degree range in stop-n-go traffic.

The only problem I've ever had was when a fuse blew. We originally installed it with an "add-a-fuse" setup. Now I have it set up on a seperate relay box and it hasn't given me any trouble at all. I highly recommend it.

Thanks Buddy. That is exactly my concern is stop and go driving. Atlanta is like that 24/7 so low RPM cooling is what I am looking for. I do appreciate the feedback!

There's a pretty good thread in the forced induction section on this same topic that you might want to check out.

i put it on, its great. cools better, lower temps in traffic and at speed and cools quicker on the return road for hot lapping. i went 10.92 on a 300positive da and added the ewp and went 11.06 on a 2400 positive da. it works and gave a little power

Actually I did a search before the question was asked. I really didn't see any thing that answered my specific question. I will try a search just In FI. Thanks...
