I am by no means knowledgeable on cam selection but make sure the cam you select is compatible with the stock torque converter if you do not plan to change it out for a high stall converter. I have the same mods as you except I have melrose headers. I plan on having a cam installed in august so I am thinking along the same lines.

That cam is great Cam only, but you will need a Converter and a good tuner to make it run right

I think most guys try to run a 114 with an Auto. I THINK the 112 will need a lot of fine tuning

You'll be fine. I'm running a G5X3 112lsa in my A4 (cam only w/bolt-ons) and the car drives great. I would have went with the G5X4 had I known it would drive this well. It's all in the tune!!!

You will need a stall though. I'd recomend a Yank SS3600.

The MS4 is a very large cam, and it takes a good tuner who knows what he's doing.

Now, the duration or LSA doesn't bother me, it's the lift. .649" intake, you'll need better springs than most cam kits come with, plus you may need to flycut the pistons for that kind of lift.

If you have stock heads, no flycutting is required for the MS4. The kit Texas speed sell's with that cam comes with the correct springs

How often will those springs need to be changed out with that much lift?
Thanks,
