Default Ya-hooo finally!

LG Motorsports finished installing my new ARE LS6 oil pump today. My oil pressure issues are now resolved - 83psi at 5k!

Glad to hear it. It would appear that oil pressure problems with stroked motors is/was everpresent. I sure hope that they have a handle on the cause and solution. I suppose you'll be accepting delivery soon?

I had the oil pump installed in the stock 346CID motor. Since I picked it up it had been plaqued with too low oil pressure no matter what I did. As a matter of good measure to keep the motor healthy I had the new pump installed. The rollbar is installed, the testing of the LGM LT headers is complete, the oil pump was changed, and now I'm just waiting for the glass in the mini-tubs to finish drying. This means I should be taken it back home tomorrow night. You never realize how much you enjoy the car until you don't have it for several weeks.

Anyways I spoke with Nick at ARE and my 422 is finished. The compression was right on target at 11.6:1 and it will be shipped out early next year (the week of the 3rd) when they return from holiday. After I pick a new clutch, get some fuel systems upgrades (injectors), get LS1 Edit, and the first batch of LGM LT's headers are available I will go ahead and have the 422 installed. 2002 is going to be an exciting year!

The wait for the ARE 422 pales in comparision to the 1.5 year wait I had for the Incon twin turbo kit! ;)

Please refer to Jeremy's post about the 1.5 year wait on his turbo kit. I expect mine to take less time, but after the motor buildup, etc.....I think both of our cars will be ready at the same time. :)

Why don't we go 4 wide? In 6 months I should put down 500/500 to the wheels...
