My passenger side window did the exact same thing last year. I looked on the forum and one thread said to hit the area right behind the speaker with your fist. I tried it and it worked. Apparently the electric motor can sometimes stick, especially if you don't use it that often. You have to hit that section of the door panel pretty hard, but its certainly worth a try
I fixed mine 1.5 years ago with "percussive maintenance". Turn the key on, open the door, hold down the window button. Now, make a fist and beat the snot out of the inside, lower center of the door. Mine worked after about the 8th hit. Good Luck.

Beating on it and cycling it might make it work for awhile, but once they mess up, you need to replace the whole regulator assembly to get a permanent fix.
Mine worked off and on, and finally quit completely.
I replace both regulator assemblies and have not had another problem.
The assembly will cost you $300 to $400 from a dealer, but there are internet sites that will sell for less than $200.
You can easily replace it yourself and save several hundred dollars labor.

Same experience here. Beat on it - worked for about 3 weeks. Beat on it again - worked for about 2 weeks. Third time it BEAT ME. Replaced both window regulators under warranty.

I beat mine into submission once ~1.5 years ago. It has worked ever since. I do make sure I use the passenger window more often now.
