Just wondering if anyone on here can help me with this one..Please no guesses here either. My signal light would occasionally blink quickly and other times would work fine. There are NO burnt out bulbs. The last few days signal lights wont blink at all. Does anyone know what can be wrong. I was gonna order the harness to eliminate the hyper flash. Will this cure the problem..If i press the hazard light switch the lights blink right. So how can ther work right when the hazards are on but not when i use the signal level? If i press the switch a few times the signals work again but then could stop working at any time. HELP ME
I converted the car to HUD a few years ago and the new dash had a hazard switch in it already. Back then the signals blinked fast occasionally as well. I find it hard to believe both swicthes have gone bad. Will that harness fix the fact that the lights are not blinking at all from time to time?
Mine went bad last month, and I wish I had done it myself. I took it to the shop and 300 bucks later they replaced the switch and "forgot" to reconnect some wires. So I had to go back and doublecheck their work anyways. Do it yourself.

What harness ???? I never mentioned a harness ......
If you are talking about the "bypass" harness that some vendor claims will "fix" the hazard switch problem .... forget it ..... replace the hazard switch. It is a pain that you have to take half the dash apart, but it is the best solution.
You may find it hard to believe, but unfortunately the hazard switch does fail, and it screws up your turn signals when it does.
If you do the troubleshootng and its not the hazard switch, it will be the turn signal stalk. I replaced my hazard switch, soldered all grounds, checked splice packs, replaced bulb sockets and bulbs, tested with other BCM's, and finally discovered that my funny blinker problem was entirely caused by the copper contacts in my turn signal stalk going bad. I bent them back and cleaned them up and its been working fine since. When it finally goes again, I'll buy a new stalk and be done with it.
Billdog, can you please describe the "funny blinker problem" a little more? When the lights stopped working, did they restart after activating the hazards and that's why you replaced the hazard switch?
Hey I'm not so sure about that, last time I was in FL I was stuck behind someone in a Merc Marquis that 's head was below the steering wheel, and the signal was on for about 5 miles, finally went off before they turned.
