I've done it. Because of the Active handling, ABS and so forth I chose to use two solenoids right at each front wheel. This worked out VERY well without putting the other electronics into a quandry.

is there a way of doing it with out putting it in a "quandry" with just one solenoid? Or every time I go to the track I will be kicking on my abs light? It should not affect active handling/traction because I shut it off at the track.

I believe it's been done...I just felt better not affecting the computer TC/ABS module. Since each wheel can brake independently with the TC system, there are individual lines to each corner.

I know it has been done. Now what line do I put the solenoid in? pre abs pump that is.

These 2 pictures show mine. Been there about 5 years now. From the Master Cylinder to the lineLoc. From the lineLoc to the original brake line. The only line that needs to be touched is the rearmost line on the master cylinder on your 2001. naturally you will need to flare and add the proper couplings.

From Top Drivers side of the Master Cylinder. This is looking from windshield to the nose.

This is from the bottom of master cylinder just to show how the factory line installs into the lineloc.
