C5 stopped beeping
HI
My c5 2000 A4 does not beep anymore when I forget the lights on, also all the other beeping sounds that the car made before has stopped now. this kinda sux cause I do forget the lights on often....
any idea?

It sounds like you are describing the "chime" that sounds when a message is posted on the DIC or you leave the headlights on.
The speaker for the chime is part of the IPC and its wiring is part of the IPC.
You will need to remove the IPC and service or replace it. Call these guys and see if they can help you with this. If the IPC has to be replaced, you will need the services of a shop like this as the IPC has the vehicle odometer reading stored in it. A new odometer has to be programmed with your mileage, and dealers cannot do this.
