Default how will they know?

If i change my rear end gears how, will the dealer know if i go in for a service? If so what will happen?

They could probably figure it out if a good 'vette guy drove the car, or if they looked at the stamping on the diff. My only question is: Why would they care? My dealer wouldn't care less, unless a problem was directly related to the aftermarket rear end.

Why not go ask them if they want the business?

Could the tell by looking at the programming, and would they do this on a regular service?

The rear end gear ratio is not programmed into the computer. If you have an automatic you would need to reprogram the shift points.

They still cannot see this, I've been told dealer tools only let them put in a new flash image, not edit or view any of the values.
