You can try one of our supporting vendors or you can check http://www.gmpartsdirect.com - but I think they only sell the block and heads. Good luck, what are you plans !?
Well, in the distant future I want to buy a new motor to mod, and keep my LS1 pretty much stock so the vette will still be drivable if the 427 is in pieces. Also I really don't want to risk a .006 overbore going through the cylinder wall
Agostino Racing can sell you a re-sleeved block with pretty much any bore up to 4.100". The blocks alone retail for about $2500. They are solid. Put my car deep into the 9's :D
'98 Six Speed: if you don't mind me asking, where did you get your C5-R block built? That's basically what I'm going for
ws6mikey: hmm, with a 4" stroke thats 422cui, which isn't that bad :yesnod:
I guess I'll have to call them up to get some word on pricing.. thanks for the tip!
Try https://www.spoperformanceparts.com/ this is the official GM Performance Parts web site. They used to have the Gen 3 large bore block listed but I don't see it any more.

Agostino Racing (ARE) has many different big cube solutions to what you are looking for. You could also just pay the core charge and keep your current LS1 together and ready to drop back in if you ever desire. Shoot me an email if you are interested in any information or pricing from ARE.
Had the re-sleeved blocks been as reliable as they are purpoted to be now, I would have saved a huge chunk of change by going with ARE. I understand that ARE has a proprietary sleeving method and they are solid, no leakers. Give them a call.
Please give us a call if we can be of any service as we are a preferred dealer for Katech products. In case you have not heard of the company before, Katech builds the C5R motor for GM.
We have one of Katechs 427s on its way to us for our company car, hopefully next week.
i have been dealing with katech for over 30 years and they are the engine development arm for GM. they just finished working on the new chevy indy racing engine which will be used in the IRL this year.
