Default Rear Window Latches

The left side solenoid works but hatch will not release. I opened by pulling metal cable and did some thing to the latch so that now the rear window will not close on either side. Latch is jammed solid. Is there a way to reset latch so window will close?

Thanks

The part of the latch that hooks onto the hatch is probably in the locked position. Look down into the latch and see if there is a piece that is blocking the hatch latch assy from going all the way down into the latch. If that's what you see, then pull the cable release and take your finger or a screwdriver and pop the locking piece back up. Basically, the latch is closed without the hatch in it, you need to open it.
Man, there's alot of "atches" in that post! I confused myself!

p.s. If that does it, take some lubricant and lube the latch assy and see if you can free it up. Sounds like it is stuck, if you hear actuator clicking.
