After paying for the rotors and new converter I'l have about 3k left over from the "totalled truck" buyout and have a couple of options. Would love to hear some thoughts :D
Option 1
Buy new rims and tires to help plant the new found and future power (I'm partial to this one)
Option 2
Start long awaited work on color keying the interior....I have several choices lined up and this would be a great start. Been eyeing using someone locally whose work is spectacular!!!
Option 3
Get more go fast parts, which would include an LS6 ported intake, headers, etc....all the bolt-on stuff to prep for heads/cam :D
Any and all thoughts are welcome, as are additional options, thanks :)

Well, since you will already have the torque converter with 3K, id say get a nice Stage II heads/cam setup and set it aside until you save enough to get it installed and tuned! :) I find it a lot more difficult to save up a big chunk of change for one big thing (like heads/cam) so when I would have the cash all in one place at one time, id buy the big stuff and get it outa the way. Headers and LS6 intake might be easier to save for over the next few months as well.
Of course a nice set of rims/tires wouldnt be a bad idea either but you will be pretty limited with 3K as to what you can get. (CCW, Mallett or Z06 Repros)
Re: How Would You Spend the Money? (Mean Green 2000)
Go for the rims and tires, if you plan to do speed mods in the very near future. If not you'll just burn up a good set of tires that could be put to better use with more power. But Dang, Rims Sure Look Sweet!!

Get some tires for traction and then a head and cam package. Of course, I have other ideas where you might be able to get a great heads and cam package. ;) ;), but whatever you decide, I am sure you will be happy.
On a side note, we typically give our customers a few weeks to a month before we charge the Core charge. We find it easier and so far, we have never had a problem with our customers not sending them in. We have faith in you guys! :)
