transmission problems....
hi, i have some problem whith the transmission on Corvette c5 1999, the 6 gear pops out, when a shifting to the 6 grear and release the clucth the gear pops out. can someone tell me what to do??

Prior to 2001, C5's used paper blocker rings. These are NOT compatable with all synthetic ATF fluids.
After running Mobil 1 in my MN6 for 50,000 miles, it started grinding going into 6th gear. I switched to Amsoil ATD and it stopped immediately !
Now, I am not sure about "poping out", but after checking shifter alignment, I would change fluid (especially if you don't know what is in there OR you have 50,000 miles on it!
