Yet another lowering ?
Is there a trick to getting the lower control arm to drop out? I wanted to get the lowering bolts out so i cold cut the bushings but i could'nt get the control arm to drop. I had the shock and sway bar off. I did'nt see anything else holding it and I gave up after about 40 min trying to get it to drop down.

Try a hammer on the side of the control arm near the ball joint. Hammering on the metal distorts it enough to loosen the ball joint. I know it sounds unconventional, but short of having GM shop tools, it's the only way, and it doesn't require too much force.
