drives/brakes straight, no pulling on the highway while normal driving. But when the car is at WOT in 3rd & 4th gear it wants to go to the left.
I figure it the torgue that pushing it that way, maybe the right rear tire has more power put to it than the left.
Question: had the car aligned, now is there an adjustment under the car to compensate for this??
Used to fly alot and had some time in my Dad's P-51. The same as the 51, it's torque. Just like when you took off in a 51, you had to compensate for the torque or else you became a smoking hole. You have to do the same with the vette esepcially wwhen you reach the peak.
Watch the left front end of a tractor trailer when they they take off from a stop the whole left side wants to lift and pull that way. Compensate and realize it's going to happen.

Try driving under the same conditions with the traction control off and see if it still happens. I have to drive with it off at all times or it has a tendency to change lanes in 3rd and 4th. I have a lot of torque. Cheers

That's what I like about counter rotating twins - P factor isn't a factor

The P-51 is still my favorite plane. Hats off to you for having flown one.
