Default Running an LS2 intake

I have a 2000 C5. I picked up an LS2 intake, injectors, fuel rail, and TB for next to nothing. What do I need to make this work with my factory harness? Will the LS2 TB work with my current computer/harness? If I recall correctly the LS2 injectors have a diferent plug but can't and adaptor harness be had? I know a lot of guys run adapters and run the LS1 fuel rail but I already have the LS2 fuel rail.

Thanks!

OK. I'm not absolutely positive, but I think you have to get a harness adapter for BOTH the TB, and the injector wiring. Not worth the trouble is the general consensus, as the LS2 intake is more restrictive than the '01-up LS1-6 intake. Tuning problems too, for very little gain. Save the TB, and get a TPIS converted LS6 manifold, which uses the stock fuel rail/injectors, or get a FAST, or the new (someday) Weiand.

'05-up is LS2, w/ 90mm TB
97-2000 LS1 manifolds are the same
2001-4 LS1 and LS6 intakes are the same.

I was going to have the LS2 intake ported. I got this all for free and it has to flow better than my stock LS1 intake...

LS6 > LS2 > LS1

You are better off selling it and picking up a LS6 for $~300, the LS6 flows a lot better than the LS2. Go to ls1tech.com and search on it, you will see what I am talking about.

I think the LS2 would be ok ported(and cheap ). They have way more casting flash around the runners and internally compared to a LS6 intake stock vs. stock. The ls2, ls3/l76, and ls7 have the most to gain from porting. Port the tb and clean up what you can with the runners matching them to the heads and it would work ok. The injectors are larger and will support higher power levels also. I'd use it up to mid 400whp level then look for a fast 90 for the best gains.

Fact is I am running a (ported) LS2 Intake and TB and when comparing (overlay-ed dyno graphs) with the FAST intake, my only loss was at high RPM, the bottleneck was air from the MAF.

My VARARAM came yesterday and I ordered the wiring harness for the MAF changeover to the LS2 so I am anxiously waiting to see if I can match the numbers that someone had using the Fast intake and "other" parts.

I bought my harness adapter from caspers electronics - I'm not sure of the size, it's from an LS2, I'm really not sure. I can tell you that the outside of the LS1 one fits right inside of the LS2 one.

are you thinking of doing the change?

So what all needs to be done to get the LS2 injectors and TB to work with the LS1 harness?

I don't know yet, I think my LS6 maf is 85mm? I'd like to know how big the LS2 is and if it's worthwhile to swap it when I do the LS2 90mm tb and Weiand intake.

I pulled out the LS2 injectors and used green tops (#42's).. Not sure what you are talking about here. If you use the LS2 fuel rail it should just go on I would assume..I utilized/modified my LS1 fuel rail because it's a "98" and I wanted to keep my return type system

Casper's also has the TB wiring harness, i think I paid about $50.00 for it

Where did you get your LS2 intake ported at? That sounds like a viable option, however I would be curious to see what gains, if any, are had over an LS6 intake.
