Default ECS installs pfadt coilovers

I just got back the other day from my drive home from ECS. We installed some new goodies. I thought I would post my impressions of the pfadt coilovers that were installed. First of all, the system is well engineered. The car's handling was dramatically improved in that the car had far less tilt in turns and bounce over undulations in the roadway. My confidence in that car's ability increased substantially as I pushed it much harder through the twisties then I was able to before. I also noticed that the car launched much better.

I am really anxious to start playing around with a nice sway bar setup. I have a set of T-1's that were on the car but I did not like the way they worked together with the stock springs and shocks. I will probably try those first and then maybe move to Hotchkis if they do not work out well.

The install was very straight forward and took little time. We also decided to corner weight the car. I am very please with the setup and look forward to playing with it some more and tapping into it’s real potential….looking forward to some track time.

I will be posting more info as I get more seat time.

We're glad to hear you're happy with the Pfadt Coilovers and thanks for posting! ECS is an outstanding shop and we're excited to work with Chris, Doug and the ECS Team!

If you decide you don't like the sways you have make sure you checkout the Pfadt sway bar line up. Our bars are rate-adjustable so you can control the balance of the car by making adjustments to front and rear roll stiffness levels. This allows you to perfect the handling of the car for your tire set up and your unique driving style.

The adjustments are made easy by our custom, Made in the USA end links and can be changed between run sessions. Just loosen the jam nuts, reposition the end links to a different hole in the arm, tighten it up, and you’re on your way.

The Pfadt sway bar kits features CNC machined 7075 Aluminum arms anodized Pfadt orange and laser etched with our logo. They’re extremely strong, light weight and durable. Our end links (like everything in this kit) are Made in the USA and are teflon lined.

The bars feature 4130 Chromoly steel and are zinc plated for corrosion resistance. The ends are carefully splined for a perfect match to the arms. They are the lightest sways on the market and look great. We include polyurethane bushings for a complete install. We offer our Street bars as well as our Comp "Pfatty" bars, please feel free to call us or ECS if you'd like help figuring out the best option for your specific needs.

ECS is a great partner and we're excited to work together!
